WSP E&IS GmbH is currently seeking Environmental Permitting Consultants for our location of Frankfurt
Your New Role – Key Responsibilities
Conducting environmental due diligence studies for planned operational sites and development projects
Advising on environmental permitting and approval planning (e.g. under the German Federal Immission Control Act – BImSchG, and the Water Resources Act – WHG)
Preparing and submitting permit applications for industrial facilities (construction permits, BImSchG permits) and managing interactions with authorities
Project management of site development projects, including budget responsibility and coordination of specialist studies (e.g. environmental impact assessments, explosion protection)
Supporting WSP project teams for national and international clients, particularly in transactions and the clarification of permitting procedures
Supporting project acquisition activities, including presentations and preparation of proposals
Close collaboration with WSP specialist teams in Germany and internationally (working language generally English)
Your Team and Working Environment
You will become part of our 20-person Compliance and Permitting team. We work in an interdisciplinary manner and are closely networked with experts across Europe and internationally. Pool vehicles are available for project-related travel; overnight stays can be arranged flexibly in holiday apartments or hotels.

Is This Role Right for You?
Completed university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in environmental sciences, civil engineering, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in permitting management and client project support
In-depth knowledge of relevant German environmental and permitting legislation
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, a high level of personal responsibility, and excellent teamwork skills
Proven very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
